I am not living my life for a CV.

january last year, I organized a hackathon at my college.
then, I realized I can actually do something serious.
after that I got into things with my cousin. SEO, & AI music for which we ran websites and pages on Instagram, YouTube, closed now. Some worked, some didn’t.
Then, new things… this year. Three industries. Footwear and fashion, education consultancy, and now AI, community, and marketing. All my very first jobs.
Why did I change so quickly? I didn’t know what I wanted. I knew that I should at least try enough things first to know what I enjoy doing. Because…
I am not building my life for a CV, I am not dying for a CV. I wasn’t afraid of getting fired. I wasn’t afraid of not getting hired. The CV will be built when I’m enjoying what I do, not the other way around.
I love the founders I worked with (i still visit them). I saw things from their side completely. But my days just didn’t feel right. I got burnt out mentally. The work wasn’t pointing towards the life I wanted. So I told them honestly every time, I’m not getting the clarity I need. And every single one of them let me grow. No clause. No conditions. That’s a privilege I don’t take lightly.
Now here I am. I love the work i do. I’m still figuring things out, still growing. But this year gave me real things: business communication, how industries actually work, basics of video editing, content, community, and a lot more i wanted to learn.
I have mentors right now who guide me well, i wish that for every 21-year-old.
Such an amazing feeling, & very grateful for the positive energy I’m surrounded by.
